A GNATHIA WARE BLACK-GLAZED TERRACOTTA ASKOS

Of lentoid form, with a domed top decorated with incised concentric circles surrounding a central knop, radiating foliate patterns are depicted in yellow and white slip with elements highlighted in darker slip, the arched handle crossing the body to the flared spout, 14.7cm long.
