The roiro ground decorated in gold togidashi maki-e with three large sparrows, two fighting in mid-air while the third flies past on the other side, embellished in silver and slightly coloured takamaki-e, the interior of rich nashiji, unsigned; with a mixed-metal tubular ojime inlaid with flowers and plants of the four seasons, signed Mitsutoshi. 8.6cm x 7.3cm (3 3/8in x 2 7/8in).
