rectangular, the lid applied with an earlier miniature depicting a château and its gardens, traditionally identified as Château de Chanteloup, in the manner of the van Blarenberghe family, late 18th century, maker’s mark, gold-lined; together with a rectangular miniature of an orangerie, school of van Blarenberghe, late 18th century, bearing initials VB l.r. in a silver-gilt frame
7.9cm., 3⅛in. wide; 8.5cm., 3⅜in. wide

First in generally good condition, the gold lining a little pitted, gilt frame to the miniature rubbed
Second, miniature, generally good
