A GREY JADE CHILONG DISC AND A PALE GREEN JADE 'CHILONG' BUCKLE
Yuan/Ming Dynasty
Comprising a square disc with a central circular aperture, carved on one side in high relief with a chi dragon and the reverse in low relief with stylised ruyi motifs; and a rectangular buckle pierced through the body for suspension, the front carved in high relief with a pair of confronting chi dragons. The largest: 7.7cm (3in) wide. (2).

Natural inclusions.The square disc: A polished chip to one corner and a small surface chip to the underside of the same corner.Some rim nibbling.Part of one edge with some pitted russet inclusions which have been polished.The buckle: 0.3cm rim chip. Some polished chips around the central aperture to the underside.
