Ancient region of Gandhara, 2nd - 3rd century
Of square shape, deeply carved, the fragment with several overimposed niches filled with figural decoration, on the right hand-side little yakshas dancing and holding a fly whisk, on the left hand-side a haloed Buddha in meditation in the lotus position, holding the dhyana mudra, flanked by two standing attendants, above it a fragmentary relief with three standing male figures, 17cm x 16.5cm.
