A GROUP OF FIVE FRENCH AND GERMAN PORCELAIN FIGURES, EACH SIGNED, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, comprising a pair of polychrome painted KPM Berlin figures of a gentleman and lady in 18th century attire with lace details, standing on shaped triangular bases with molded "C" decoration and verso overglaze red inscribed "140/1073" and "140/1074" opposite an overglaze red cross on orb over KPM mark, underglaze blue scepter, incised potters double dot and D marks, impressed 180 and 181, each height: 9 3/4"; together with two Samson colorfully painted figures wearing 18th century style costumes, one modeled as a maiden beauty holding a floral stem in one hand and her blossoms filled skirt in the other while standing on a flower encrusted groundwork base of "C" scrolls and rocaille, verso underglaze blue horizontal line on crossed lines above "S", impressed "362," height: 8"; together with an actor wearing a beret cap and crimson cape on a large ruffled collar over a waistcoat and knee britches while standing by a tree trunk in a dramatic pose on a circular groundwork base with "C" scrolls and rocaille molded details, verso underglaze blue horizontal line on crossed lines above "S," impressed "287," height: 8"; including a Psyche figure wearing long floral decorated billowing fringed robes and holding Cupid's hand while descending from clouds on to a stylized groundwork of gnarly branches and foliage on swirling acanthus "C" scrolls and stylized rocaille, verso underglaze blue spear centering an exploding ball mark and impressed "4597," height: 12". Dimensions: Condition Report: Psyche figure has restored right hand fingers, few chipped leaf tips. Samson maiden has a repaired base, restored left hand and flower, restored neck. Both KPM figures have expected small lace losses, he is lacking part of black hat ribbon and she has had her left hand restored.
