China, Shiwan , Foshan kilns, Circa 1900s-1930s
Two are modelled as a seated Zhong Kui, also known as the Demon Queller. The third is modelled as a Li Bai and is offered at auction with a matching wooden stands. It also bears a label to its back and there is a further label to the base of the stand. Those labels give a provenance, lit. in English: ‘Collection of Giorgio Colombari Antique Dealer Via Santa Marino Turin Italy’.
