A GROUP OF THREE SHAKER WOVEN STRAW BONNETS, 19TH CENTURY, each woven with neutral weft straw and weave brown straw composing a dome form top, continuing to a wire stiffened and pleated arch opening trimmed in brown cotton border, joined by simple white stitching on flat braided banding to a continuous matching neck and sides shield, interior tops centering glued white tags numbered 9 (or 6). Condition Report: Strong colors, some losses on each from aging, use and environment, brown cotton borders are worn, frayed and loose exposing strengthening wires.
