The first one made on brown clay inscribed with Shou / longevity characters, a mark stamped to its base reading ‘宜興紫砂茶壶’ for ‘yíxìng zǐshā cháhú’. The second one, the most interesting of the two, adorned in famille rose enamels with a lotus pond and with plum blossoms, also with an entwined handle, bears a stamped mark to the base reading ‘宜興紫砂’ for ‘yíxìng zǐshā’, also bears an engraved mark to the inner part of its lid reading ‘金記’ for ‘jīn jì’.
