A Gandhara grey schist sculpture of the Bodhisattva Maitreya, a fragment of a seated Buddha and a sculpture of a master with a child, 1/5th C.

H.: 29,5 cm (the seated Buddha, stand excl.)
H.: 31 cm (the group with a man and a child, stand incl.)
H.: 25 cm (the group with a man and a child, stand excl.)
H.: 29,5 cm (the Buddha with water pitcher, stand incl.)
H.: 23 cm (the Buddha with water pitcher, stand excl.)

Provenance:
- The collection of Mr. and Mrs. S., Ghent, Belgium.
- The fragment of the seated Buddha was acquired at the 2008 Antique Dealers Fair of Belgium, from Sara Kuehn, Brussels, in January 2008, according to the owner's inventory notes. This piece is also featered in the book 'Indian Sculpture', page 53.
