A George Harrison Owned and Used Two-Piece Wool Pin Striped Suit
c.1968, manufacturer's label inside jacket "Lord John of Carnaby St., Made in Italy." The suit was donated by George Harrison to London's Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and was used for the fifth version of the Beatles wax figure display in 1968. The lot includes a letter, dated October 18, 2006, from the Madame Tussauds Collection auction that took place on December 7, 2005, lot 201 as well as an image of the suit at the museum.
