early 18th century
the moulded cornice over a pair of cupboard doors enclosing an arrangement of ten drawers around a central cupboard enclosing four secret drawers, the lower section with a pull out writing slide inset with baize over three graduated long drawers, carrying handles to sides, raised on bracket feet and rolled leather casters, mounted with brass handles and lockplates
height 148cm., width 100.3cm., depth 47cm.
Condition: Overall good colour. Keys present. In unrestored condition. Old replaced hinges on both doors. Shrinkage Cracks and splitting to veneers on doors. Losses to veneer on base round drawers, some small old patched veneer replacements as well. Minor Chips and losses to veneers to front bracket feet edges. One rear bracket foot with larger losses. Interior bright. One side handle detached but present. handles and lockplates appear original
