A George I silver gilt hot-milk jug on three scroll feet, London, 1718, maker's mark partially rubbed, the ovoid body with wooden side handle to shallow domed cover with knopped finial and chased border, coat of arms to body, 13.5cm high, approx. weight 9.6oz, together with an 18th century silver gilt sugar bowl raised on three pad feet, c.1730, marks rubbed, the cover and body engraved with coat of arms (matching that on jug), 9.5cm high, 10.5cm dia., approx. weight 8.4oz, total weight approx. 18oz (2) Provenance: Works of Art from the Schroder Collection.
