A George I walnut and feather banded side or centre table, circa 1720, the quarter veneered, featherbanded and crossbanded top, with moulded edge and frieze, on turned tapering cabriole shaped legs terminating in pad feet, 71cm high, 67cm wide, 51cm deep

Provenance: Private collection, Kent

Condition Report:
Marks, scratches and abrasions comensurate with age and use Old chips and splits, some minor old repairs. Some fading overall. Some small later blocks to the underside of the top. The stretcher support to the centre of the underside of the top is a later replacement. Some later screws securing the top from the underside. All other timber elements original and with original surface. This table is an unusual and attractive example with very few expected later fixtures, otherwise a very good original example.
