A George II Style Mahogany Pier Table, 19th Century
with an inset brèche violette marble top
height 34 in.; width 40 1/2 in.; depth 28 in.

Condition Report:
With a clean, complete well-maintained appearance, structurally sound and ready to use. General overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use. Feet previously with castors. The marble with a chip to the proper left side of corner edge, approximately one inch in length. Also a 1 ¼ inch chip to marble at proper right front corner. And with general marks, surface scratches, and scattered areas with old infill and restorations.
With two old shipping labels adhered to the reverse of the marble reading: "MARTINSPEED LIMITED / 7 GLASSHOUSE WALK / SE11" and with "gothic topp" handwritten in cursive also to the reverse.
