In sturdy, usable condition. The color of the front is slightly faded. Drawer construction and back boards appear to be original. The back is papered over but gaps between the boards are visible. Scattered age splits and minor losses to the veneer and cockbeading. The hardware is old but the locks have likely been changed, suggesting that all the hardware was replaced at some point. The top of the lower chest is lifting so there is a gap between its upper drawer and the top rail.
