Condition Report:
Attractively worn gilt surface. Probably originally a picture frame. The plate appears to have some age and there are losses to silvering and a large oval area of discoloration to the left side (9.5cm. high). Flaking too gilding and exposed gesso throughout, notably along the lower edge and right corner. One oak leaf pendant lacking (visible in catalogue image). An atmospheric lot.
