Condition Report:
The mirror plate with some foxing, losses to silvering and a hole forming visible splits to the silvering near the bottom. The giltwood sections with some rubbing losses to the gilt layer revealing the underlying gesso or wood, and with several splits along construction lines. The gilt layer with some darker sections of colour due to a build-up of dust and grime. The top of the foliate crest with a chip.
