Hallmarked Joseph Sanders, London 1738. Overall length 6.75" (17cm) and height 4.5" (11.5cm), weight 10.85 ozt (337.4 grams).

Condition Report:
- Of heavy gauge and appears in good overall condition.
- Displaying general tarnishing and some expected surface wear, marks, scratches and nicks in keeping with the age and use.
- Some heavier nicks and pitting marks visible to the interior of the base.
- Evidence of likely repairs around the join of the handle to rim, surface uneven and a little lumpy. Possibly not the original handle? Flying scroll design slightly later date?
- Some surface rubbing causing flattening and loss of detail to areas of the lion mask and paw feet.
- Hallmarks located underneath, partly rubbed and worn but still legible. Maker's mark seen in Jackson p.189 for the date 1737-8.
