In overall good condition. A few minor surface scratches as well as some small dents to the body. The cover's hinge in good, working order. The handle is silver beneath a woven raffia wrapping; there is significant age to the raffia and it appears to be original but it is uncertain whether it was replaced in the 19th century. No evidence of repair or monogram removal.
