A George III Silver Cream-Pail by Charles Chesterman, London, 1764
tapering cylindrical, the sides chased to simulate staves, with overhead twisted-wire swing-handle, engraved with a crest on one side and initials on the other 9.5cm high including handle, 2oz 9dwt, 75gr
Fully marked underneath. The marks are clear. The handle is apparently unmarked but looks to be original. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some minor bruising to the base. The initials are probably 'WG'.
