A George III antique sterling silver snuffbox, Birmingham 1809 by John Shaw
Of curved rectangular form, the lid raised with a simple thumbpiece, decorated throughout with engraved latticework, with initials SD. Together with a Williams IV snuff box, London 1834 by William Knight II or William King, apparently with erased Birmingham marks. Of rectangular form with foliate scroll thumbpiece, reeded sides and engine turned decoration throughout. (2)
