The spoons marked HB, possibly Hester Bateman; sold together with two serving spoons by Hester Bateman, London 1782, the bowls possibly later engraved with squirrels; a shell-form caddy scoop by George Natter, London 1797; and a tortoiseshell and mother of pearl pair of sugar tongs.
