A George III mahogany and upholstered stool in the manner of Thomas Chippendale, circa 1780, with upholstered seat, and H stretcher and chamfered straight moulded legs, 41cm high, 60cm wide, 50cm deepCondition Report: There are marks, scratches, chips, splits, abrasions consistent with age and use, some to the extremities and edges.The central part of the H stretcher has been re-fixed. The underside of the feet have signs of having had casters.There is evidence of old worm including to the inside of the seat rails and interior corner braces. Please note we have not inspected the frame beneath the upholstery and can't comment on the condition of this covered area.The later woolwork upholstery is aged, marked and worn with some give to the seat upholstery.Please refer to the additional images for a visual reference of condition.
