A George III mahogany bureau bookcase, late 18th century, 197cm high, 103cm, 54cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use,The shelves to the bookcase section are height adjustable, this feature is possibly an adaptation - the grooves for one shelf cut through the top-most hingesThe handles and locks appear original throughout the piece, there are later elements fitted around these as keepers to secure the locks shut.
