Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, Polished, Some chips, losses, and replacements to veneers, inlays, and mouldings, Old splits and cracks, Lock to secretaire drawer is later, and no key present, there is a key jammed to the internal drawer to this section - this is not original and does not operate the lock. There is a small calendar dater 1851 pasted to the inside of the secretaire drawer. The leather inset is later. Handles are probably the originals The lock to the cupboards is later, there is a key present operating this lock at the time of report. No key present to the glazed doors - these are locked shut The panels to the lower doors are slightly warped
