A George III mahogany side cabinet
A George III mahogany side cabinet, circa 1800, the rectangular top with dentil apron above a pair of tambour doors, 77cm high, 75cm wide, 50cm deep
Provenance: Waystrode Manor, Kent
Condition Report:
Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use,
Chips and losses to some veneers and mouldings including some teeth missing to the apron, and veneers around a rear foot, internal drawers possibly later
One side is coming away from the main body, damaged and with internal cracks and glue/nail repairs, this is secured on dowels, these need attention and re-gluing,
Tambour doors running - left hand one will need refixing to back- currently loose
