A George III mahogany side table, circa 1780, in the manner of Robert Adam, the semi elliptical top above a fluted frieze, on fluted turned tapering legs headed by patera terminals, 78cm high, 113cm wide, 45cm deep
Condition Report:
Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old chips and splits. Two later screws to the back of one of the front legs. Some minor evidence of old worm to the inside of the frieze. All legs have been re-tipped. Old repair using glue, nails and filler to the top of one rear leg (see images). Some veneer to the edge of the top has been neatly re-fixed. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
