A George III silver baluster mug by John King, London 1775, with a leaf-capped double scroll handle, on a domed foot, later engraved with the Thynne family crest, later presentation engraved as a christening present to Lord Christopher Thynne beneath, 10.5cm (4 1/8in) high, 211g (6.75 oz)

The head of the Thynne, now Thynn, family is the Marquess of Bath. Christopher was the present marquess's brother.

Condition Report:
Rocks due to dent in foot, marks with wear but readable Body has three small creases, area at end of handle missing
