rectangular form, gadroon border, the cover engraved with two armorials, detachable foliate capped handle, the warming stand with two baluster handles, on four bun feet, length 30.5cm, approx. weight 51.9oz.
The armorials are that of Dalrymple impaling Graham quartering others: Sir Adolphus John Dalrymple (1784-1866), 2nd Baronet of High Mark who married Anne Graham, daughter of Sir James Graham, Baronet of Kirkstall in 1812.
