A George III silver snuffer tray, the elongated oval form with moulded rim enclosing a stippled and leaf motif border to a centrally engraved initial within floral swags. Hallmarked Robert Hennell I, London 1789. Length 9.5 (24cm), weight 4.23 ozt (131.5 grams). Dimensions: Condition Report: Displaying general expected surface wear and some quite heavy tarnishing to the whole. With many scratches, nicks and contact marks, some fairly heavy. Rubbing and wear to the stippled and engraved decoration with significant loss of detail to some areas.Hallmarks located to underside of base, some light rubbing but otherwise good and clear.
