Hallmarked London 1774, maker's mark T.W, possibly Thomas Wallis I. Overall length 6.25" (15.5cm), weight 5.54 ozt (172.3 grams).

Condition Report:
- Appears in good overall condition.
- Displaying some general expected surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing in keeping with the age and use.
- Some cracks visible around the join of one of the feet to the main body and some floods of solder around the join of another foot.
- Possible rim repairs around the join of the handle.
- It is likely that all or part of the chased decoration is later, especially the flowers and bird.
- Surface wear and rubbing to decoration with some loss of detail.
- Hallmarks located to the underside, these slightly rubbed but all still clearly legible.
- The maker's mark with slight distortion to edge of punch in places. This mark is also similar to one for a Thomas Wynne, which was registered around the same time. (Jackson p.210).
