The hood with free-standing plain columns and broken swan-neck pediment centred by an urn finial, the trunk with a shallow single-board door above a fixed crossbanded panel, on a rectangular base with cut-away plinth, the signed painted enamel eleven-inch square dial with Roman numerals, date arc and polychrome floral spandrels, the movement with anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike, 215cm high
