pear-shaped and on spreading foot, robustly chased with foliage scrolls and rocaille, one side further chased with a vacant cartouche, the hinged cover similarly decorated, with leaf-capped ivory-insulated scroll handle 24.5cm high, gross weight 41oz 13dwt, 1,294gr With non-transferable standard ivory exemption declaration number P9ZFFYDC.

Fully marked underneath. Further part marked inside cover, on handle and on finial. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The cartouche may be erased. There is a bruise to one side. There is no indication that the ivory has been added or restored in any way We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale.
