A George IV mahogany open bookcase, circa 1830, the moulded top above three banks of adjustable shelves divided by moulded pilasters and surmounted by scroll carved corbels, on a plinth base, 102cm high, 161cm wide, 33cm deepCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and useOld splits and cracks, some chips and losses, one piece of moulding is Sellotape to one sideAs can be seen in the catalogue image the lower section has some old holes to the backboards - this has possibly been used for hi-fi or entertainment system and this was cut for the wires.
