of rectangular form with rounded corners, cover and thumbpiece applied with scrolls and decorated with all-over engine turning, the inside of the cover engraved with, presentation inscription 'This box was presented by the Traders' Society to Cornelius Butler as a testimony of their respect and esteem, and for the assistance he has always rendered to the stewards and his uniform attention to the financial, interest of the Society ...etc',
