A George IV silver fish slice, in Fiddle pattern with initial engraved terminal, the blade with geometric pierced centre. Hallmarked London 1824, with maker's mark probably for William Knight II. Length 12" (30.5cm), weight 4.65 ozt (144.7 grams).
Condition Report:
Displaying some heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. Many surface scratches, marks and nicks throughout. Slight crease through the middle of the blade and a couple of breaks and repairs to the pierced section. Heavier wear around edges and tip appears rounded and blunt. Heavy seam line at the base of the handle, seen to the reverse and sides around the join. Hallmarks located to reverse of terminal, these clear and legible.
