A George IV silver open salt, of cauldron shape with gadroon rim and gilt interior, initial engraved and raised on three shell feet, hallmarked London 1824 with maker's mark IW. Together with a Victorian silver open salt on three ball feet, hallmarked Henry Wilkinson & Co., Sheffield 1874, and a George II silver sauce boat of typical bellied form on shell feet with foliate capped flying scroll handle, hallmarks partly illegible (a.f). Weight 10.54 ozt (327.7 grams). (3). Dimensions: Condition Report: All pieces in fairly tired overall condition and displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Also some surface dints and bumps.George IV salt with repair to one foot and cracks to another. Gilt interior faded. Hallmarks a little rubbed but still clearly legible. Maker's mark similar to James Wintle but without pellet. Victorian salt with rim a little misshapen and heavily tarnished interior. Hallmarks rubbed but clearly legible. Sauce boat in poor condition. Numerous heavier dints and bruises throughout. One large split to rim and a few smaller ones. Evidence of repairs or alterations to feet as three large oval marks remain. Hallmarks are very worn, part of lion passant, leopard head and date letter visible. Date possibly 1748, 1750 or 1752. Also with scratch engraved initials to underside 'B' over 'I-P'.
