Of rectangular form with translucent blue enamel top, the lid released via trick mechanism, the thumbpiece with a baguette cut black onyx surrounded by geometrically arranged marquisates. Marks to flange and inside of lid. Together with a George V sterling silver and guilloche enamel compact, the lid and side of green translucent guilloche enamel, gilt interior, import marks for London 1927 by Cornelius Sanders & Frank Shepard.
