A George V Gold and Enamel Badge by H. T. Lamb and Co., London, 1935, 9ct.

oval, enamelled with the coat-of-arms of the Incorporated Society of Auctioneers & Landed Property Agents, with blue silk ribbon, the back engraved with an inscription and later with another inscription, in fitted black leather covered case, gross weight approximately 18dwt, 28gr; Together With two similar badges for the Junior Members Organisation, each apparently unmarked, engraved with the same coat-of-arms, the back of one engraved with a name, with blue silk ribbon (3) The inscripions on the gold and enamel badge read 'Arthur G. Minter (London) President 1935' and 'Howard Minter President 1955-57'.

The gold and enamel badge marked as expected. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. One of the smaller badges tests as approximately sterling, the other tests as approximately 88% silver. Each with some surface scratching and wear. The ribbons on each piece with wear. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
