Slightly curved blade with broad shallow fuller on each side with the Royal Coat of Arms and crowned "GR" cypher, on the back illegible signed. Brass stirrup hilt comprising a pair of langets, the outer cast with a lion mask in low relief, grooved knuckle-bow and the back-strap rising to form a maned lionshead pommel. The leather covered grip and copper wire wrap. In steel scabbard with two rings for suspension. United Kingdom circa 1800, length 101 cm. Condition 2
