A Georgian (Tbilisi) silver-mounted kinzal with a rare
Pointed, double-edged blade with damask core, ridged on both sides, attractive grey patina. Riveted horn grip scales with nielloed fittings and decorative rivets made of silver, on the reverse side with hallmarks "AB" and "84". Wooden scabbard covered in leather with silver fittings engraved and nielloed on the obverse, on the reverse side Georgian writing and the same hallmarks "AB" and "84", leather restored. Length 50.5 cm. A similar blade can be found in the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg.
