A Georgian gold navette-shaped memorial ring, c.1787,
with a gold engraved and incised urn, to a woven hair ground, with a glazed cover. A notched bezel with flat section shoulders, with engraved and incised decoration to a plain shank. A hand engraved memorial inscription to the underside of the head 'Mary Roberts ob 4 Oct 1787 AE 77'. Tested as approximately 18ct and 9ct gold. Head 30 x 18mm, 6.55g.
