A German Baroque flintlock rifle from the armoury of

Octagonal barrel slightly indented in the middle with eight-groove rifled bore in 20.5 mm calibre. Dovetailed sights of brass and iron, the barrel base with fullers on top. At the breech two brass-lined marks with pelican and "CH". Flintlock with lightly domed plate, openwork side plate with cut tendril ornaments. Adjustable set trigger, sliding safety. Lightly carved full stock, the front third of the forestock an old replacement. Patch box with carved sliding lid, smooth iron furniture. Replaced wooden ramrod with flat iron tip. On the butt struck salmon mark with number "15". Length 116 cm.
