DESCRIPTION: A German gilt-bronze mounted porcelain potpourri pot and cover.
Late 19th century,
The large round-form body topped by a domed lid and dolphin finial, the whole painted with satiric dinner scenes, fitted with a pieced rim flanked by lion's mask and ring handles, raised on a pierced gilt bronze base.
Foundry marked properly marked on the bottom.

ORIGIN: Germany

CONDITION: Excellent condition, slight paint loss to Koi figure.
