A reinforced long spike of diamond section. The concave axe blade pierced with dots, rear fluke struck with a smith's mark and dot-shaped openwork. Rectangular socket extending to a four long straps (one of them repaired). Remnants of the original oak haft has been cut to 120 cm. Germany, circa 1550, overall length 209 cm. Condition 2-
