A German cabasset, circa 1600
One-piece hammered heavy skull with small back-turned head. Narrow brim with turned and roped border, a crack on the obverse. Surrounding lining rivets with decorative brass rosettes. On the obverse a central hole, on the reverse two holes for the fastening of a plume socket. Height circa 20 cm.
