A German copper jug, dated 1717
Footed jug with allover repoussé fish-bladder decoration. On the cylindrical neck, a coat-of-arms shield with monogram “A:O” and the date 1717 on the front. The Lippe reinforced with brass. Hinged lidded with fish-bladder decoration and sturdy acorn finial. The strap handle added during the period of use. Height 35 cm.
