A German halberd, circa 1600
Massive, quadrangular thrusting spike, leading to an angular socket. Crescent-shaped blade and opposing fluke, both sides decorated with circular piercings. Socket extending into two opposing langets, langets broken and replacement pieces soldered on. Replaced round wooden haft secured with screws. Length 213 cm.
