A German left-hand dagger, ca. 1600
Double-edged blade of diamond section. Four narrow fullers on each side, the two inner ones with multiple perforations. Sturdy ricasso with two fullers. Hexagonal crossguard strongly inclined toward the blade, the thumb ring on the obverse side with shell-shaped fluting. Spirally fluted grip with iron wire winding and Turk's heads. Cylindrical pommel with fine continuous fluting and offset riveted button. Length 45 cm.
